What are the benefits to being a NSA member?

There are many benefits in being a NSA member such as getting involved in nursing student activities, forging relationships with fellow nursing students from all levels, working closely with the School of Nursing faculty, developing experience and leadership skills, building your resume, and get or be a nursing student mentor!

Your membership also automatically joins you to the National and California Chapters of the Nursing Students' Association.

How can I join the NSA?

If you are interested please contact the current Vice President of the NSA, applications/membership are open at the beginning of each semester.

What resources can NSA provide?

How can I become a NSA Board member?

Must be a NSA member to participate in annual elections held during the Spring Semester. How to participate in the elections will be announced closer to the time of elections.

When and where can we volunteer?

Volunteer opportunities will be posted when available which usually allow students to get opportunities to practice their skills in a real setting. You can sign up for our emails or check the website for updates in our Volunteer page

How can I be more involved in the NSA?

NSA has meetings twice a month we have a schedule available in our NSA Meetings page. We hold elections every year during the Spring semester if you are interested in becoming a director of NSA at SFSU.
