Surivival Tips for Nursing School

Below is a list of tips compiled by NSA members. Check back for updates!

  • Make sure to eat a well-balanced diet high in fiber, complex carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables.
  • Exercise regularly. This helps relieve stress. Try to get at least 30 minutes, 5 times per week.
  • Try to get adequate sleep.
  • Form friendships with other nursing students.
  • Plan regular weekly study groups.
  • Meet with your faculty advisor regularly.
  • Utilize SFSU’s counseling services.
  • Make sure to set aside quality time with family.
  • Treat yourself to a movie!
  • Join the NSA!
