Canopy Home Care’s Healthy Healing program is now hiring! We are looking for responsible, caring individuals to provide part-time, non-medical care to post-surgical patients in the comfort of their own home. Flexible schedule, with day, evening, and overnight shifts available.
Qualifications:
- One year patient care experience, preferably involving surgical care
- LVN or CNA certification, or current nursing student
- California driver’s license and auto insurance
- Attention to detail and ability to follow – and facilitate patient adherence to – post-surgical instructions
- Caring and compassionate attitude and a desire to help others
Duties may include:
- Roundtrip transportation
- Rx Pick-up and delivery
- Medication reminders
- Overnight stays
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Help with physical activity
